FY 2018 Summer Youth Program (SYP)

West Central GA CAC, Inc. sponsored a Summer Youth Program, facilitated by the staff and volunteers of the agency.   The program took place at the Dowdy Family Resource Center in Cordele, GA. From June 11, 2018 until June 27, 2018 youth were targeted to participate in the program from our eight county service delivery areas.  A total of 24 youth, ranging from ages 8 to 17 were registered, with actually 22 attending.  Summer camp days were held on Monday and Wednesday of each week.  The theme of the program was “Who Am I…Who Will I Be”.  The purpose of the theme was to allow each youth to visualize what he or she will become.  Partners, sponsors, and volunteers who helped to make the SYP a success were as follows:

FY 2019 Annual Fundraisers

The West Central GA CAC, inc. Board of Directors and board members are sponsoring a raffle ticket sale as an annual fundraiser.  The raffle tickets are $2.00 each, with a chance to win a 32 inch flat screen T.V as first price.  The second prize is $50, and the third prize is $25.  The purpose of the fundraiser is to raise money to assist families or individuals when there are no federal or state funds available.

On Saturday, December 15, 2018 Board members drew three lucky winners for the Board Fundraiser Raffle ticket.
